Huntsville’s Best Restaurants for Business Dinners

There are many benefits to a well-planned and well-executed business dinner. Getting out of the office can create a much more comfortable atmosphere for organic bonding with coworkers, peers, and colleagues. Business dinners can also be used to show respect, make a good impression, or even showcase what your city has to offer to possible clients or colleagues.

In this article, we’ve gathered some of the best restaurants in Huntsville to wine and dine your guests for a business dinner. First, let’s look at some swanky options.

Purveyor Huntsville

 Purveyor

Our first downtown Huntsville favorite is Purveyor Huntsville, which supplies an upscale but comfortable atmosphere with world-class cooking paired with your favorite wine, beer, or bourbon. There is indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor being right underneath Downtown Huntsville’s Light Tree sculpture by artist Christopher Fennell. The ambiance of the sculpture paints a warm glow over late night diners as well as lighting your way along the sidewalk of our beautiful downtown Huntsville.

From small plates like Ahi Tuna Poke Tacos and Beef Tartare to entrees like Roasted Half Chicken and Kan Kan Pork Chops, this is a homerun if you’re trying to impress your business dinner guests.

Purveyor Huntsville is a unique and stylish option that will not disappoint. They even have a special room that can be reserved for bigger parties that need a more private space.

Book reservations online through resy.com or by calling 256-419-2555. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 4:30PM-9:30PM and it’s located in downtown Huntsville at 201 Jefferson Street.

The Bottle

 TheBottle

Another one of downtown Huntsville’s premiere restaurants is The Bottle.

“The Bottle, an upscale eatery that features Southern Cuisine with a French influence, specializes in steaks, chops and a variety of the freshest fish available.”

If you’re looking for a quiet restaurant that provides excellent service and scrumptious food, look no further. The Bottle serves fresh, local ingredients and has an ever-changing menu to reflect the season. They have a private dining line geared specifically toward smaller groups and business dinners, 256-704-5555, and love to accommodate their guests.

Reservations are appreciated, walk-ins are welcome. Make reservations through the private dining line or through opentable.com. The bar opens for drinks at 4PM and dining hours are Monday-Thursday 5PM-9PM, Friday-Saturday 5PM-10PM. The Bottle is located in downtown Huntsville at 101 Washington Street.

Flight Plan Wine & Tapas

 FlightPlan

If you’re looking for an upscale casual option for your business dinner in Huntsville, Flight Plan Wine & Tapas may be the perfect destination for you. Flight Plan Wine and Tapas specialize in wine flights, which is a sequence of wine samples that have a common theme, and tapas which is an appetizer or snack of Spanish cuisine. This restaurant would be a great place to break the ice, explore new things, and connect over fine wine and good food.

There are indoor and outdoor seating options and has a well-lit and comfortable atmosphere. If you fall in love with any of the wine you taste during your flight, you can buy a bottle to take home or one to send home with your guest after your meeting.

Hours of operation are Lunch: Tuesday-Friday 11AM-2PM and Saturday 11AM-4PM, Dinner: Tuesday-Saturday 4:30PM-9PM. Kitchen closes at 8:30PM. Make a reservation through their website or call 256-715-1653. It is located at 2710-A Carl T Jones SE in Jones Valley.

Domaine South

DomaineSouth

Domaine South is always a crowd favorite and would be a fantastic place for an intimate business dinner.

“Domaine South is a reflection of cozy southern hospitality, adventurous spirit with a tiny bit of edginess that makes us stand out from the crowd.”

Branded as ‘the best little wine shop in downtown Huntsville’, Domaine South never disappoints. From high-end charcuterie boards to my personal favorite, the classic butter ham sandwich, to a flat iron steak, there is something for everyone here.

Reservations are recommended for both indoor and outdoor seating, as the space is smaller and almost always full. Domaine South is located at 103 Northside Square and is soon to be opening an additional, larger location at 200 Westside Square #60. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday 11AM-8PM.

Stovehouse

 StoveHouse

Maybe you aren’t looking for somewhere quite as fancy as wine and charcuterie but would still like to be able to have a good meeting in a great atmosphere. Stovehouse is a great outdoor space with great energy and a diverse collection of restaurants.

From ramen to crepes, tacos to barbeque, Stovehouse and its restaurants have something for everyone. The onsite bar, Pourhouse, deems itself “comfortably swanky” and covers all of your adult beverage needs.

There are plenty of tables to take advantage of the outdoor ambiance, fire pits below string lights included. It can get a little loud on nights with live bands, but just give the website calendar a glance to see what events are scheduled that night.

Hours are Monday-Thursday 8AM-11PM, Friday 8AM-Midnight, Saturday and Sunday 10AM-Midnight. Since Stovehouse is home to many different businesses, you may want to check specific business hours in any restaurant or shop before planning your meeting to make sure there are no disappointments. Stovehouse is located at 3414 Governors Drive.

Campus 805

 Campus 805

Another casual option with a lot to offer is Campus 805. Campus 805 was once a school that has since been converted into ‘the South’s premier brewery and event venue’ and is home to restaurants, breweries, bars, coffee shops, an arcade, a tattoo shop, and many other businesses. This space is a great example of the unique vibe that Huntsville has to offer and would be an ideal place to show an out-of-towner what the Rocket City has to offer.

Campus 805 is home to Hops n’ Guac, which is fast-casual Mexican-fusion; Ale’s Kitchen, which serves burgers, tacos, wings, and other culinary wonders; Earth and Stone, which is a great go-to for pizza; and Rock n’ Roll Sushi, which has you covered with all things sushi.

There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, entertainment options, and space to have a great business dinner with clients or colleagues. It is also located in the Arts and Entertainment district allowing customers to try local beers and take them out with them as they explore other areas within the campus. Campus 805 is located at 2620 Clinton Avenue West. Hours of operation vary within different businesses, so make sure to check ahead of time for specific restaurant hours!
