Made in the Rocket City: Straight to Ale

Blue Summit Supplies presents Made in the Rocket City, a video series showcasing the diverse local business of our hometown - Huntsville, Alabama.

This episode features Straight to Ale, Huntsville’s longest-running brewery that’s a local staple for more than just its glorious beer. They’ve spent the last decade growing, moving from a 10,000 square foot facility into their 80,000 square foot operation in Campus 805, and Matt, the operations manager, says he’s “lucky every day I get to come to work and keep goin’.”

But what exactly is going on at Straight to Ale?

“When you come in the front door, you instantly enter our taproom. We’ve got a sixty-foot bar, we’ve got 20 taps of beer on all the time. [Outside], you come out to our outdoor patio. If you find your way down the hallways of Campus 805, you might find the speakeasy. And we also have the High Falls tasting room just a little bit further down the hallway that features our wines.”

And Matt doesn’t even touch on the food – the delicious, delicious food, our personal favorite of the selection being the jerk chicken tacos.
