Do you want to build a stronger team at your business? One that communicates better, collaborates with enthusiasm, and problem solves together with ease? Start by providing ways for your employees to get to know each other better. The more authenticity and transparency that develops within your team, the more they will understand each other. The better they understand each other, the better the teamwork, and consequently – the better the job performance.
Take a little time to get outside of the office, and outside of the work mindset. Doing so can relieve stress, inspire creativity, boost morale, and build camaraderie. Allow your team to socialize in a fun and engaging way where they have nothing to lose – except maybe bragging rights. 😉
In this post, we will detail our top 11 places for team-building activities in Huntsville that will not only help unify and strengthen your team, but also reveal who has a hidden talent for hitting things with an axe.
1. Escape Rooms
Immerse yourself in an alternate reality with an escape room experience! Each escape room comes with an elaborate backstory that provides you the information you need to complete a detailed mission. You and your team of (4-8 people) have 60 minutes to find clues, decipher riddles, test your knowledge of cryptology, and problem solve like a boss. You can explore the different escape room themes, book your reservation, and purchase the experiences online.
Huntsville Escape Rooms have five distinct rooms rated with an escape success rate: The Psych Ward (45%), The Informant (65%), The Executioner, The Hexadron (42%), and The New Atlantis. Pricing starts at $25 per person, or you can rent a private room, for up to 7 people, for $175.
Escapology Huntsville offers three different rooms with a difficulty rating out of 10: Antidote (6.5/10), Budapest Express (8.5/10), and Th3 C0d3 (7.5/10). Pricing starts at $24.99 per person.
2. Rage Room
“Be bad in an environment when being bad is good.” It’s time to break some stuff. The Rage Room is a great outlet to smash the stress out of your day – and what better way than in the company of your coworkers. You have the option to choose your weapon of micro destruction (baseball bat, shovel, hammer, golf club, etc.), and play your own music over the sound system to really get your juices flowing. Don’t worry, you’ll be provided the proper protective gear to keep you and your team safe.
If you de-stress more like Picasso and less like the Tasmanian Devil, perhaps the Splatter Room is more your thing. Definitely bring a change of clothes for this activity, though a white t-shirt is provided along with painting utensils and goggles if you need them. The idea is to get as much paint on the walls, on you, and your coworkers as possible -- so don’t hold back on your splatter technique.
