It’s no secret that this year has been a complete dumpster fire. But even the darkest cloud can have a silver lining, and we wanted to take a moment to think back on what our silver linings have been in 2020.
Because, at Blue Summit Supplies, we have a lot to be thankful for.
Owen
“I am thankful for the time I get to spend with my family and the hard and meaningful work I get to come back to on Friday.”
Katie
“I am thankful for the time I get to spend with my family. Despite the pandemic, we are all very busy. Any time we get the opportunity sit down in the same room and enjoy a meal together, it helps all of this feel just a bit more normal.”
Shannon
“This year I'm especially grateful to work for a company that puts people first, a good-humored spouse that makes lots of time at home tolerable, and my growing collection of yoga pants - Spandex is the real MVP of 2020.”
Chrispian
“I was sick this time last year and at the time didn't know it was a heart attack brewing so I'm thankful to be here! I couldn't have gotten through it without my wife and kiddo who took great care of me and made sure I got the help I needed. I'm also thankful for a challenging job that lets me solve interesting problems and continue to grow and level up my engineering skills.”
Grace
“I’m thankful for the end to 2020. Bye, 2020, see ya never. (Also for a loving family, good job, and a future full of potential.)”
Jessica
“I'm thankful for the fullness of life that still showed up in a hard, hard year: I graduated from college, started working full-time, and got married to the sweetest man. I'm also more grateful than ever for the health of my family and those I love.”
Jake
“I’m grateful for sunshine, the invention of the shower, Uber eats, discounted travel, and quality friendships.”
Stacy
“I'm grateful for my loving and supportive family and friends, both the ones I've had all along and the ones I've made along the way in Alabama. I'm thankful to have people I work with be great friends and to be part of such a welcoming and embracing community.”
Brad
“During this dumpster fire of a year, I am thankful to have such a solid support group of friends and family to turn to, as well as a job with an amazing culture that allows me to grow both professionally and personally!”
Matt
“Although 2020 has been a difficult year, I am thankful for the opportunity it has given me to take a step back from normal routines and focus on my health and relationships. I am also thankful for discovering oatmilk in coffee.”
Ron
“This year I'm thankful for my wife, and friends, family, and co-workers who have helped keep me as sane as possible during COVID this year. It's been hard, but doing things like happy hour on Zoom, or just chatting while playing games on PlayStation has helped keep me in touch with people, even if we can't physically see them. It's been a very weird year, a new job, a global pandemic, a Presidential election, and through it all the people closest to me have really helped me manage it and at time, just survive it.”
