Blue Summit Supplies Gratitude for 2021

Let’s be honest, we saw this year going differently in our minds. 👀

It felt like we were still recovering from the maelstrom of madness that was 2020, and then in a sudden flash, an entire year had passed.

So we decided to step back and draw a deep breath, taking time to consider the victories, successes and meaningful moments of 2021 – from the seemingly insignificant to the life-changing. And let me tell you, the growth and change we saw was beautiful.

Of our company’s core values, one stands out amongst the rest, especially during this time of year: “Value the Present While Always Moving Forward”

This Thanksgiving, we at Blue Summit Supplies are taking a little extra time to do just that. Not just to value what has passed, but what we have in this present moment, and why we couldn’t be more grateful.

I am very excited to get together and drink, eat, and celebrate with my family and extended family for the first time since COVID. I am also very thankful for my job, my co-workers, and the opportunities that this company affords me every week!

I'm thankful for the health of my family and friends, and for 2021 being a better year to travel to visit them! I'm so thankful for my health and to work for a company that truly values their employees and embraces us like family.

I'm thankful for both personal and professional families, never have I been more loved, challenged and accepted. Outside of that I am also thankful for those special individuals who have inspired me – inspired me by taking interest and using their valuable time. It's this curiosity, this thirst to expand their understanding and compassion that makes me thankful and hopeful for what the future will bring for all of us.

I’m thankful for Lizzie for writing this blog, and thankful I’ve survived the past 18 months with fewer than ten mental breakdowns. … And also my beautiful kids, supportive partner, and overabundance of pets.

This year, I'm thankful for all the small, unhurried, in-between moments: laughing on the office couch with my coworkers, eating at a restaurant with my husband, gathering with family just because, hugging friends' necks. 2021 brought a bit of return to normalcy, but with it a new appreciation for the everyday treasure of waking up and getting to do what I love with people I love.

I’m so grateful for new beginnings, emotional healing, and having a job I love to come to everyday and a work family that cherishes me as much as I cherish them.

I am thankful to work at a company that challenges me and pushes me to continue to grow both personally and professionally. No day is uneventful and it's exciting to design solutions for issues and know that my company trusts and believes in me. I am also thankful for my family, friends, and rediscovering my passion for reading.
